The 7-Day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on Construction Law, Contracts & Arbitration, organized by the Dhirubhai Ambani University School of Law, aims to equip participants with a comprehensive understanding of the legal, contractual, and dispute resolution aspects of the construction industry. Scheduled from 8–14, November 2025, the online FDP is designed for academicians, professionals, and researchers seeking to enhance their expertise in construction law and its practical applications.
The programme covers crucial themes including the evolution and relevance of construction law, types of construction contracts (such as FIDIC, EPC, and PPP), risk allocation, project planning, documentation, and contract administration. It also explores advanced topics like scheduling and delay analysis, claims, arbitration, and the role of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) mechanisms under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 and Mediation Act, 2023.
Delivered by eminent experts such as Mr. Ratan K. Singh, Prof. Dr. Avinash Dadhich, Mr. Hasit Seth, Mr. Ronak Desai, Mr. Mohit Dubey and Ms. Alisha Mehta along with other leading professionals, the sessions combine theoretical insight with real-world case studies. Participants are required to engage in assessments including a case study analysis and a thought leadership article.
